The proposal carefully balances traditional architectural features and classical proportions with a subtle contemporary reinterpretation, creating spaces that feel both timeless and refined.
The basement extension has been conceived as a natural continuation of the existing house, respecting its architectural language while introducing improved spatial flow, enhanced natural light, and modern functionality suited to the clients contemporary living.
The interior scheme reinforces this dialogue between heritage and modernity. Architectural detailing, bespoke joinery, and carefully considered material selections establish a cohesive narrative throughout the residence. Classical mouldings, panelled walls, and balanced symmetry are paired with restrained contemporary lines and a calm, curated palette.
Ann antique marble fireplace has been meticulously sourced to serve as a focal point within the principal reception space, lending historical depth and craftsmanship to the scheme. Complementing this, substantial marble slabs have been individually selected and procured from Italy, chosen for their exceptional veining, tonal richness, and authenticity introducing texture and permanence, reinforcing the project’s commitment to enduring quality and material integrity.
