Project 241 / Morocco
Services: Architecture, Interior Design
Size: 7200 sqft
Project Description:
VILLA FEZ is a refined expression of simplicity, understated luxury, and a deep celebration of nature. Located in Fez, the residence draws inspiration from the city’s rich architectural heritage while embracing a contemporary way of living tailored to its clients.
The exterior features a dignified classical façade, conceived as a tribute to the client’s love for European architectural heritage. Through balanced proportions, refined detailing, and a timeless compositional order, the villa celebrates the elegance and cultural richness of European architectural patrimony while remaining harmonious with its Moroccan setting.
In contrast, the interior unfolds in a more contemporary language—open, fluid, and filled with natural light—designed to suit modern lifestyles while preserving warmth and intimacy. At the heart of the home lies a reinterpreted internal patio inspired by Islamic architecture. This courtyard becomes the spatial and emotional core of the villa, organizing the ground floor around a serene oasis.
The interplay of shadow and water—fundamental elements of the Islamic garden—serves both practical and symbolic purposes. Subtle water features and filtered light temper the microclimate, naturally cooling the surrounding spaces while quietly referencing the historical context.
The traditional courtyard is reimagined through a modern lens: minimalist water elements, Mediterranean planting, and contemporary furnishings blur the boundary between indoor comfort and outdoor beauty. These tranquil spaces reflect a Mediterranean lifestyle in a modern context—where nature, light, and architecture exist in seamless dialogue.

“In Fez like in the Costa Del Sol, the past and present don’t just coexist; they dance together in a beautiful harmony. This blend of historic and
cultural elements with modern design creates a living experience that is both uniquely Andalusian and comfortably contemporary. It’s more
than just design; it’s a celebration of history, culture, and modernity, all under one roof.”
