Project 218 / London

Services: Interior Design, FF&E Procurement

Size: 1,000 sqft

Project Description:

A minimalist and calming city escape. Our clients wanted to improve the level of light in the naturally dark rooms. White was our choice to convey minimalism as it immediately feels clean and simple and to enhance the light. To this neutral canvas we decided to add depth and interest exploring interesting materials such as zellige tiles and Tadelakt. Perhaps it’s because of its exotic provenance or perhaps because it connects us to nature, but tadelakt has been one of our favorite material so far. A plaster that has a special application and finish, Tadelakt was originally invented and used by the Berbers in Morocco. It feels both sophisticated and rudimentary at the same time.
